AlcooTel, developed by Prévention MAAF, has been recently updated with a new design and enhanced features, available as a free download on mobile and tablet devices.
AlcooTel is a user-friendly online BAC testing app allowing users to perform a self-assessment in a matter of seconds. By inputting basic parameters such as gender, age, weight, height, and alcohol consumption, users receive a real-time estimation of their BAC. Additionally, AlcooTel estimates the time at which users may safely return home and offers options for securing transportation if the BAC exceeds 0.49 g/l (e.g., calling a taxi or a friend).
The results provided by this test are intended for informational purposes only. The application aims to raise awareness and educate the public about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.
